About Michele
Michele originally planned to pursue a business degree but discovered her passion for pharmacy instead. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy (Go Dawgs!) before completing a pharmacy residency at CaroMont Health in Gastonia, North Carolina.
In January 2016, Michele began her career as an Internal Medicine Pharmacist at an academic medical center. In July 2018, she was honored by the Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists with the Outstanding Young Health-System Pharmacist Award in recognition of her contributions to the profession.
Throughout her career, Michele has been passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of pharmacists. She has more than 10 years of experience precepting pharmacy students and residents and has served as the coordinator for student and resident rotations.
Driven by her passion for education, Michele co-founded Memory Pharm, an educational platform dedicated to creating fun, engaging, and effective learning resources for pharmacy students, educators, and healthcare professionals. Memory Pharm's mission is to simplify complex pharmacology concepts for visual learners through illustrations, mnemonics, and thoughtfully designed study tools that complement traditional pharmacology curricula, making medication learning more engaging, memorable, and intentional.
